ENGINEERING EDUCATION
The University has several degree programs which are of four year durations at the Bachelor level followed by one year of the Master’s level. The three main cycles are Bachelor, Masters and doctorate.
The Bachelor is at the core of the program. The aim of the four year program has always been to provide a sound scientific theoretical and mathematical core to which is added current technological issues. The degree programs entail 240 ECTS credits over four years with 60 ECTS credits per year. The four year course is a fulltime course and does not include credits for professional training which is expected to be done after graduation.
The Masters courses offered are academic but include professionally oriented modules on management. The courses are offered either as one year full time or three years part time.
